If you’ve been a victim of any kind of online scam or crypto scam or other type of fraud one of the things that happens a lot of times is you feel like you’re stupid you feel like you did something wrong you feel like maybe you’re an idiot don’t feel that way these scammers know what they’re doing here’s a perfect example they stole a million dollars from a government and a town right these people have accountants CEOs bookkeepers that take care of their money and they got scammed so these are very sophisticated fraudsters they know what they’re doing they use what’s called social engineering in case you don’t know what that is it’s figuring out exactly how to say the right words to convince you to do what they want you to do and they know what to do they do this thousands of times a day they polish their words they know what works they know what doesn’t work so don’t feel like you did anything wrong you may have lost money but it doesn’t make you stupid it makes you somebody who you know unluckily cross path to one of these scammers.

They stole a million dollars from a city town in Idaho that was trying to buy some equipment in this case the scammers tricked the employees to send a million dollars to fake contractor the payment was intended for a Wastewater project but was diverted to their account um FBI is investigating small City accidentally gave away a million dollars accidentally gave away a million dollar right um an employee sent a payment of 1, 19251 meant for contractors but it went to scammers and scammers impersonated representatives of a contractor social engineering gain the trust it’s a long story I mean it’s a it’s a you know broken record story.
