EV Price Crash
Wow, even CNBC, the stock market channel, the business channel, is getting in on the EV price crash craze. Used EV price crash keeps getting deeper. So, this is June, the middle of June 2024. I don’t know when you’re reading this, but it’ll be interesting to see when you’re reading this how much worse it got.

Used Teslas Prediction
We’ve talked in prior videos about the fact that we believe that used Teslas are going to be down around $10,000 within the next year. And comparable electric vehicles versus the same kind of, you know, style and size and trim level of gas vehicle EVs are now cheaper in the used car market.

Considerations for Buying an EV
So, if you’re looking at an EV, you might want to consider unless the reason that other people think it’s less valuable is the same reason you think it’s less valuable because of range or your use case or you can’t charge it or you have to go on long trips.

Expert Consultation Plug
We will be back in your video in just a few seconds. In the meantime, remember that actualhuman.com offers you live one-on-one private video consultation with an expert in this exact subject. We want to listen to your story, we want to hear your questions, we want to give you expert advisement of your options and tell you what we know about your particular situation. Now back to your video.

Using EV as a Second Vehicle
But if you’re looking for a second vehicle, just a commuter car around town that you don’t need to have a long-distance road horse, you might consider a used EV. If you can get one dirt cheap and you just need it back and forth to work or running errands on the weekend, you may be able to justify an electric vehicle. A used EV that would serve your purpose, be less money out of pocket, and have less maintenance.

Battery Considerations
Now, remember that battery is a ticking time bomb. You want to make sure that you get a good battery checkup and make sure you have a good analysis of the range and the lifespan remaining on the battery before you jump into a used EV. But the fact that they’re crashing in price might be something that kind of swings the pendulum back over to something that’s worth consideration.
